Joined the legal profession in the year 1986 after graduating in Economics and Law from the University of Delhi and is a Registered Patent Agent. He is key player and the lead partner in the renowned firm of United Overseas Trade Mark Company and has been responsible for its success and diverse activities. He has been focusing on all areas of IPRs and related fields of commercial, contractual and anti-trust laws and has been handling all such areas on behalf of the numerous and well established clients of United Overseas Trade Mark Company as well as of United Overseas Patent Firm both in India and Overseas. He has in the year 1998 successfully completed the program on Industrial Property Management organized by the Japan Institute of Invention and Innovation, Tokyo. He is a seasoned litigator and prosecutor having over 20 years of experience before various Courts and Forums world over.

The lead partner of our reputed IPR firm ‘United Overseas Trade Mark Company’, having over 16 years of legal experience in the major practice areas of the firm, is an expert in IPR litigation, counterfeiting and Anton Pillar Actions. He is actively involved in advising the firm’s clients on diverse aspects of intellectual property including ownership and enforcement matters in India and abroad. His expertise extends to trademarks and copyrights, which includes all stages, i.e. from filing application till registration and also litigation. In addition, he also focuses on diverse aspects of commercial laws. He interfaces with regulatory authorities on behalf of the firm’s clients on IPR issues. Though registered with the Bar Council in 1989, he has been active since 1983 with his advocate father and mentor. He is on the panel of a number of Indian as well as international companies and trade-oriented Association and he has left his imprints while handling several landmark IPR-cases. He has proved to be an active member of international IPR organizations e.g., APAA, AIPPI, PTMG, MARQUES and various committees under International Trademark Association (INTA) since 1995 viz., Public Relations Committee (1999-2001), Madrid Agreement Committee (2001-2003), Trade Dress Committee (2003-2005) and is presently a member of Anti Counterfeiting Committee under the Middle East, Africa, Southwest Asia (MEASA) subcommittee.
